The Columbus Park Foundation supports the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department to provide free and low-cost programming, playgrounds, facilities, trails, and parks to our community. The Columbus Park Foundation also provides the Chuck Wilt Youth Scholarship to children in our community. Each child in our community, if they qualify, can receive $200 to use for Columbus Parks and Recreation’s programming to remove financial barriers.
To support Columbus Parks and Recreation financially, the Columbus Park Foundation holds events throughout the year to fundraise. We need your help! In order to deliver the highest impact with our events we need your support. You can help us make our efforts go further. As a sponsor, you would be highlighted as a community partner to the Columbus Park Foundation, and we will share your dedication to our community through various outlets throughout the year.

Columbus Park Foundation Events

Power of Produce Sponsorship
Support the Power of Produce (POP) Program at the Columbus Farmer’s Market by sponsoring the program! The POP Program provides $2 vouchers to children in our community each Saturday during the Farmer’s Market season. Children can use these vouchers to purchase fruits and vegetables at the Farmer’s Market.
Power of Produce Sponsorship | $250
As a sponsor of the Power of Produce Program your organization will:
- Choose a weekend to be at the POP program booth to hand out vouchers and your information to community members
- Have your logo on the POP program vouchers

Pool Sponsorship
Donner Aquatic Center opened its doors on July 4, 1948 as the first non-segregated public pool in Indiana. William H. Donner, who donated the pool, wrote it into
the deed of that the city had to offer free swim time to the community. Today we offer free swim from 5-6p every day during the summer, so everyone has place where they belong! We want to you to be part of the history of the Donner Aquatics Center by supporting free swim at the pool. Throughout the swim season we have over 9,500 community members join us for free swim.
