The Columbus, Indiana People Trail System is available for all types of people powered transportation. It is an ever evolving system with a final goal of connecting our citizens and guests of our city, to key destinations throughout our community. The overall goal for future expansion of our trail system is to bring a bicycle or pedestrian facility connection within 3 blocks of 90 percent of our residents. Your participation in the Tour de Trails event(s) provides needed funds for maintenance. We thank you for joining us in this exciting and growing event!

Course Maps  – coming soon!

Registration and Event Information

Register Online by April 5 to save $5.00 off the $25.00 entry fee and guarantee your shirt size (additional $5.00 for shirt).  The reason why you see a lot of races requiring this two week pre-registration deadline is so we can get an accurate number of the t-shirts for the company we order through. Therefore, all race day registrants and all those that haven’t pre-registered on or before April 5 will be subject to a first come first serve basis on how many extra shirts the event organizers have purchased.  Long story short, always pre-register!

Onsite registration/packet pick-up will be available from 7:00-8:00 a.m. with the 8K Run starting at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K Run & Walk starting at 8:10 a.m. followed by awards.

Onsite Location:
Lincoln Park, 2501 Lincoln Park Drive, Columbus, IN 47201 (near Hamilton Community Center & Ice Arena)

Registration and Event Information

Register Online by May 3 to save $5.00 off the $25.00 entry fee and guarantee your shirt size (additional $5 for shirt)!  The reason why you see a lot of events requiring this two week discount/shirt deadline is so we can get an accurate number of the t-shirts for the company we order through. Therefore, all event day registrants and all those that haven’t pre-registered on or before May 3 will be subject to a first come first serve basis on how many extra shirts the event organizers have purchased.  Long story short, always pre-register!

Onsite registration/packet pick-up will be available beginning at 7:30 a.m. and the 2020 begin/end location will be held at the Donner Park shelter.

This year we are changing the start time to vary depending on your distance.  We are recommending that 80K participants begin the course at 8:00 a.m. so they can be back at the shelter for the 12:00 p.m. lunch.
20K participants are encouraged to start the course at 9:00 a.m. when we will have police support at busy intersections to ensure the safety of the more inexperienced road riders.  50K participants can choose when they would like to begin riding depending on their speed and experience.

Join us after your ride for a complimentary lunch at 12:00 p.m. back at the Donner Park shelter with a raffle at 12:30 p.m.!  The course will close at 1:00 p.m.
